But I have bought about a thousand things on the internet in the past 7 years and I can tell you a couple things.

1. Ebay is the place to have fun, bidding and getting into the action, and finding the great deals.  Go ahead and register and place a bid on an item, you'll see what I'm talking about.

2. Amazon.com is a great web site with competitive prices and lots of customer reviews.  They usually have free shipping on orders over $25 and no sales tax to most states.

Either way you're going to get good deals from these web merchants.
